Winter Festival - Fête des neiges
La fête des Neiges is Montréal’s great winter festival where families are invited to play outdoors and enjoy an array of activities with something for everyone, in the magical setting of Parc Jean-Drapeau. This popular event will be returning for three consecutive weekends, from January 22 to February 6, 2011.
Whether it’s walking along the Parc’s trails or strolling through the very festive Allée Carnavalesque, tube-sliding, playing boot or ice hockey, kicksledding on snow or skating alongside the river, La fête des Neiges promises a wealth of memorable moments. The friendly Boule de Neige will be welcoming visitors, joined by his friends who will be entertaining in the various activity areas.
To discover the many facets of winter in Montreal, La fête des Neiges is definitely the place to go....and getting there by subway is so easy!
Enjoy an evening of snow shoe races and other outdoor activities, all topped off by a party at the Belvedere on Mount Royal.
